Leather care is a two-step service. First a pH-correct leather cleaner lifts body oils, dye transfer from clothing, and grime out of the grain and stitching, worked gently with soft brushes. Then a conditioner restores the oils the Florida heat pulls out, keeping the hide supple. Done right, seats look matte and natural, not greasy or shiny.
Heat and UV are hard on leather, and Miami has plenty of both. Dry leather stiffens, then creases, then cracks, and cracked leather can't be conditioned back, only reupholstered. Cleaning matters too, because ground-in grit abrades the finish every time you slide in and out of the seat. A conditioning routine costs little and keeps four-figure interiors out of the trim shop.
Twice a year is a good baseline for daily drivers, quarterly for cars that live outside. Book it sooner if seats look gray or feel stiff, jeans have stained light leather, or the side bolster is starting to crease and shine.
